San Francisco State University / USGS
Description
This project involved the creation of LiDAR data and contours for 786 square miles in San Francisco, CA. The Earth Eye team developed 1-foot pixel orthophotos, 2-foot pixel Hyperspectral imagery and contours certifiable to a FEMA-equivalent 1-foot interval.
This project will support USGS’ effort to create elevation data sets for The National Map. This project was also a successful collaboration between NOAA, USGS, SFSU and other special-interest groups conducting studies in the Bay area.
