Airborne LiDAR Solutions
Our Eye in the sky... Our approach is to simultaneously collect all sensor data from a single platform with a rigidly coupled (single) inertial solution. Next all image sensor data are rectified to the high quality/fidelity LiDAR surface, which results in time coherent data important to achieving high accuracy results. This method eliminates accuracy and environmental disparities often associated with separate sensor flights. Our team of top scientists and analysts are familiar with a multitude of applications to suit your needs. The resulting datasets are accurate representations of the real-world and delivered to our clients through advanced desktop and web-based solutions.
Airborne LiDAR can be used to support Terrain Modeling, Hydrologic and Hydraulic (H&H) Modeling and many other Remote Sensing Activities for large areas. The resulting data is used for Engineering, Planning, and Design-level activities.
Example Projects
Aerial Photography
EarthEye's fleet of aircraft can be used to collect high-resolution aerial photography to support GIS based and other geospatial mapping activities. Our aerial imagery is collected simultaneously with our airborne LiDAR and processed to create highly reliable data sets. These compiled datasets are highly accurate and serve as true depictions of the earth’s surface.
Data fusion allows the client to have different, instantaneous views of the Earth's surface through imagery and point cloud representations. In addition it also allows the user to work with ease in GIS and surface modeling practices. Whether you are getting started with GIS, Remote Sensing, or updating your annual orthophoto catalogue, EarthEye stands ready to assist!
Hyperspectral Imagers
Hyperspectral sensors extend the electromagnetic spectrum far beyond the human (visible) spectrum.
Our Hyperspectral sensors are flown in conjunction with Airborne LiDAR and True-Color Imagery to provide a time-coherent data product.
Many objects leave unique footprints known as spectral signatures allowing scientists to determine their location, condition, quantity and many other attributes over large areas when enabled with the appropriate airborne technologies. At EarthEye, all hyperspectral sensors are coupled to the same precise inertial technology utilized for our LiDAR, to provide highly accurate image products suitable for large scale mapping specifications.
